Taking the Bite Out of Veterinary Bills

For procedures over and above a general health exam, we provide our clients with a pricing quote for the treatment before the procedure is performed. If there are financial concerns, please let your pet health consultant know prior to your examination/consultation.

Payment for your pet’s services is due at the time treatment is performed. A deposit is required for all pets admitted to the hospital, and payment, in full, is required at discharge.

Veterinary Services Financing

Financing is available through PetCard© veterinary finance agency. You can apply online at www.petcard.ca, pick up an application form at the hospital, or call (888) 689-9876 for more information.

Pet Health Insurance

Pet insurance plans are available to lessen the financial burden of veterinary services. While we do not sell insurance, or recommend one over another, Burloak Animal Hospital is a PetCare© Pet Insurance Program Provider for dogs and cats. This allows us to process EVE pet insurance claims. You can view the coverage plan options and pricing at www.petcareinsurance.com. PetCare© Pet Insurance Programs include EVE online medical claim processing.

EVE Pet Insurance Online Claims

EVE is an online claims processing service designed specifically for veterinary hospitals and clinics to streamline the filing and payment of claims made under the PetCare© Pet Insurance Programs.

Clients with claims payable through EVE need only pay the hospital the deductible (plus amounts due for excluded items such as vaccinations and preventive care). The balance of the covered claim is remitted directly to Burloak Animal Hospital.
